| Lots of plans in the air now! It's summertime and everyone's been calling me up to ask if I'll plan their next party. Isn't that great? I think I may have a new career in party planning gearing up. I'm pretty relieved as I hate my day job, like, a lot. There would be nothing better for me than to get out of it and start doing something new with my people serch skills. I knew there was a reason I honed them!
But anyway, my other neighbor asked me to plan her retirement party but she wants to theme the whole thing around spinach. Isn't the weird? She's a holistic grocer so it makes sense for her but it goes without saying I have no idea how to approach it. Maybe a Popeye themed bash? Green cupcakes and sauteed spinach entrees? It's a tough life for us party planners.

| My neighbor's reunion went off without a hitch. It was awesome- everybody that she was looking for showed up. I was kind of like a guest of honor since I helped out so much when it came to a person find. What can I say? I'm just naturally good at people searching. I wish people knew how absolutely easy it is to find someone you've lost track of. Seriously, all you need is a computer and an Internet connection. Then you just need to log onto a people search engine, put in the info you have, and you're all set! Hmm, maybe I shouldn't have just given it away. Now I won't seem so special.
But seriously, I am always happy to help out a neighbor. Especially when it means I can come to the party and eat cake and drink beer! No, it really is just good karma and it will come back to me someday.
I have to say, the main topic of discussion at the party was the empire's cashback. I don't even know what that means. I need to do a bit of research before the next neighborly shin-dig.

| My neighbor's reunion is happening next week. It's so soon! Can you believe it? I can't. I've been having a lot of fun working on the party plans and using my skills to people search and pad the guest list. This whole trying to be a better friend thing is turning out great! Too bad I'm going to have to disappoint my neighbor a little...
Here's the deal: my neighbor asked me to find a person she knew long ago. She only knew his first name, what high school he went to, and his general age. Gee, that's not a lot of information. Plus his first name was so common (it was "Michael") that I immediately turned up a million hits when I went to people search. Oh well, I'm going to have to cheer her up. I know she really wanted him to come to the reunion.
One of my favorite things to read when I'm down is Rant Farm. It has such a wide range of topics on there that you could pretty much pick anything that annoyed you and it would be on there. I've heard my neighbor complain about nudity at the gym so I'm going to print out a rant to unnecessary male nudity in the locker room! Really funny stuff. I hope it makes her giggle.

| Well hello, hello, hello everyone! I've been having the best time with my neighbor. We have been sharing books and going on hikes and of course using people search engines to find person and do a few background checks. It has been awesome! Also awesome is this new list from Giant Lists: Things To Do While Waiting For the Doctor. Going do the doctor sucks, but waiting for him/her to come to your room no longer has to be a drag. Speaking of which... my doctor told me I had to start taking omega 3 capsules for my joints. Apparently in other countries doctors prescribe them for a myriad of problems. Everything from joint pain to brain issues. I don't know about brain issues... but I sure hope they help loosen up my joints! My knees have been killing me lately. | | |
| Apparently I was very helpful in aiding my neighbor with planning her reunion! We have become fast friends, and I am so excited! She really gets me, which like never happens, so that is really awesome. My people search skills really did come in handy when it came time to find people from her high school online. She told me I was the greatest people finder she has ever met! What a compliment! She asked me if I had ever tried to track my ancestry, because I was so good at finding people online and information. And I said no! But, now I have this crazy interest in genealogy! We shall see what happens with that....
